This is what Lily wore to school today. I almost tried to talk her out of it because I would never dress her in this outfit, but then I decided to be grateful that she enjoys dressing herself and accessorizing. Someday she'll get it:)
She got a little nervous when we pulled up to the school and wanted to take her hat off. I told her it looked super cute and that I was so happy she was brave enough to wear it. She left it on but only ended up wearing it for part of the day because she said that some of the kids were laughing at her. Darn them.
I love this cute, pink, girly princess and I'm glad she's mine.
She is so cute! And I am really glad that you were encouraging and supportive in her awesome sense of style. I think it's so important for kids to have that kind of confidence on themselves. I sure love that girl!

DeleteShe looks SO cute!! Makes me wanna slap anyone who made her feel otherwise. You're a great mom. I'm so happy you told her how cute she looks. My mom ALWAYS let me wear any outfit I put together (her motto was always "choose your battles"), and I'm sure some of them were pretty ridiculous, but I loved them.
