Fix-It Fridays

I don't know this girl, but this is part of an I Heart Faces challenge. The first picture is the original. The 2nd is my edit. The 3rd is my edit with my very own vintage action! Learning how to use Photoshop has been super fun!!:)

Lily's First Rodeo and My Family

On Saturday, Lily went to her very first "Radio". She and Michael went with our friends, the Dance's. Michael said Lily just loved it. She was super disappointed that she didn't get to do the muttonbustin'. But she danced all around the whole time and had the time of her life! I wish the rest of us could have gone!!

My sister, Geri, graduated from the nursing program here at BYU-I. We are so proud of her!
Here she is shaking Henry B Eyring's son's hand. He is a Stake President here on campus... I think:)

The girls didn't really sit through the program. Here is Lily playing on the stairs in the Hinckley building.

Geri and my mom

Geri and our cousin Audrey

Here we all are! Don't mind my crazy eyes. hahha!! I don't know why my pictures look like that sometimes! Well... ALL the time!

Michael looked all over the house for Kaylee before he realized that she was bundled up in the tiny little fabric baby basket that my Aunt Susan made for Lily a looong time ago;) Now that all my kids are all asleep I'm going to go watch Lonesome Dove with Michael. He's only been trying to get me to watch it with him for 5 years!:)

This is where I wish we could be today. I haven't been to Big Sur in a long, long time. But its so beautiful and I could never ever ever forget it! We are hoping to make a trip there this summer while we are visiting CA!:)

PS. Here's what we woke up to yesterday. YESTERDAY! April 13!! What the heck??

Today is beautiful, but rather wet from all the melted snow!

Photo Fun~ Vintage

I follow this great blog called I Heart Faces. I really love all the vintage looking photos I've seen lately so when I saw this tutorial I had to try it!! The version of Photoshop that I have is super old. It might even be the oldest version. So, I wasn't able to follow the steps precisely but I think I like what I came up with. Here are my experimentations:)
